AAWC mission Statement
The mission of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care is to advance the care of patients with and at-risk for wounds.
AAWC Diversity Equity and Inclusivity statement
The AAWC is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion to represent the spectrum of our membership and the people we serve. In order to best accomplish this mission, we engage and embrace a multidisciplinary approach to mitigate risk and promote wound healing. We acknowledge and are committed to raising awareness of, as well as addressing, disparities in care for those with and at risk for wounds. We commit to actively pursue these goals through a multi-pronged approach of advocacy, research, public policy, and education
