Call for Abstracts - Closed

2022 Annual Conference Abstract Submission for a Poster Presentation  

The Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) prides itself on being open to all disciplines of wound care, with a focus on excellence in patient care. Our multidisciplinary approach is evident in the range and scope of our educational programming, public policy initiatives and research priorities. Attendees at our upcoming 2022 Annual Conference will consist of physicians, podiatrists, registered nurses, physical therapists, pharmacists, researchers, nutritionists, industry representatives and caregivers. All those involved in wound care are welcome to submit a poster presentation.  

Important Dates 

Monday, June 20 Abstract submission site opens 

Friday, September 16
at 11:59pm ET

 Abstract submission site closes 

Friday, September 30

 Acceptance/decline notification by e-mail 
 Friday, October 14

Registration/intent to present due (early bird registration fee will be available if not previously registered)

Note: There is no fee to submit an abstract. Accepted presenters will receive a 50% off registration.


Abstract Review Criteria

All poster submissions will be blind peer-reviewed by a team of individuals who are expert in clinical practice or laboratory research in wound prevention and care.
