• Abstracts must be submitted via the abstract submission site. Abstracts submitted by mail or e-mail will not be accepted.
• AAWC is only offering poster presentations at the 2022 Annual Conference. Currently, we are not accepting any oral presentation proposals.
• AAWC will communicate solely with the first/presenting author if accepted. It is important that the primary author includes an email address, affiliation and degree. The primary author will be responsible for notifying all authors of important details and deadlines.
• Multiple abstracts containing similar data from the same institutions will be rejected.
• Character limit:
  • There is a limit of 3,000 characters for the text of your abstract submission.
  • The character limit includes title, abstract body and spaces, but does NOT include authors, institutions, tables or images.
• Expenses associated with the submission and presentation of an abstract are the responsibility of the presenter and may include hotel, travel and conference registration.
•  Posters are typically displayed on a 4' high x 6' wide bulletin board. Posters should fit within those dimensions.
• Push pins will be provided. If you need additional mounting supplies, especially with heavier posters (laminated, vinyl or other heavier material), please bring them with you.
• The distribution of product samples is prohibited.
• Handouts and business cards may be distributed.
• Audio-visual equipment will not be available for poster presentations. 
  
  

Poster Session Schedule at 2022 Annual Conference  

This is a tentative schedule. Authors may need to plan on being present one of the days depending on the number of accepted posters. This will be communicated with the acceptance letters during the week of September 12.
